1. Introduction

The Amadi Global Institute (TAGi) is an independent UK executive education and professional development provider based in Glasgow, Scotland.

This policy explains the booking, payment, cancellation, refund, transfer and attendance conditions applicable to TAGi's individual training programmes, corporate engagements and professional strategy consultations.

By purchasing or booking a TAGi service, customers agree to the applicable terms set out below, subject always to their statutory rights.

2. Programme Bookings and Fees

TAGi offers executive professional development programmes under the TAGi Mini Executive MBA Programme.

Our standard individual programme fees are:

  • Half-Day Programme: £199 per participant (09:30–13:30 UK time).

  • Full-Day Programme: £399 per participant (09:30–17:00 UK time).

Corporate programme fees are quoted separately and are subject to an agreed proposal or contract.

All applicable charges, including any taxes or additional costs, will be disclosed before payment.

Individual programme bookings are confirmed once payment has been received and TAGi has issued confirmation of the programme and scheduled date.

Where a programme date has not yet been confirmed, TAGi will explain the booking arrangements before accepting payment.

3. Individual Participant Cancellation and Refunds

Participants who wish to cancel must email info@amadiglobal.co.uk.

The following cancellation terms apply where no overriding statutory cancellation or refund right applies:

Notice Before Programme | Refund

  • 14 calendar days or more: 100%.

  • 7–13 calendar days: 50%.

  • Fewer than 7 calendar days: No refund ordinarily available.

The cancellation notice period is calculated from the scheduled programme start time. The date and time TAGi receives the cancellation email will determine the notice given.

These conditions do not remove or restrict statutory consumer rights.

4. Statutory Consumer Cancellation Rights:

Where an individual books a programme online as a consumer, they will generally have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days after the day the contract is entered into, subject to applicable legal exceptions.

Where this right applies and the participant cancels before services have begun, TAGi will provide a full refund.

If a participant expressly requests that a service begin during the statutory cancellation period, the legal rules concerning services supplied during that period will apply. Where the law permits, TAGi may charge a proportionate amount for services already provided, provided the necessary prior information, request and acknowledgements have been obtained.

Where a service has been fully performed during the cancellation period, the statutory cancellation right may be lost only where the applicable legal requirements have been satisfied.

TAGi will provide the required cancellation information before purchase.

Nothing in this policy excludes or restricts any statutory cancellation, refund or other consumer protection right.

5. Transfers and Rescheduling:

TAGi understands that professional and business commitments can change.

Participants may request one complimentary transfer to another available programme date, provided the request is received at least seven calendar days before the original programme start.

Transfers are subject to programme availability and confirmation by TAGi.

Requests received fewer than seven calendar days before the programme will be considered individually, including where exceptional circumstances arise.

A transfer is not confirmed until TAGi has provided written confirmation of the revised booking.

6. Non-Attendance and Late Arrival:

Participants are responsible for attending their booked programme at the scheduled time.

Failure to attend, without prior notification, does not ordinarily qualify for a refund where no statutory or other legal entitlement applies.

Participants joining late may miss parts of the programme. TAGi cannot guarantee that missed teaching can be repeated.

Where serious illness, bereavement or other exceptional circumstances prevent attendance, TAGi may consider an alternative date or other appropriate arrangement.

7. Cancellation or Rescheduling by TAGi:

TAGi reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a programme where necessary, including due to facilitator illness, insufficient enrolment, technical disruption or circumstances outside its reasonable control.

If TAGi cancels a programme, affected participants will be offered:

  • A place on an alternative available programme date; or

  • A full refund of the programme fee.

Participants are not required to accept an alternative date.

TAGi will communicate changes as early as reasonably possible.

Any liability for additional losses or expenses will be determined in accordance with applicable law and cannot be excluded where doing so would be unlawful.

8. Corporate and Organisational Bookings:

Corporate training is delivered according to an agreed proposal, quotation or written contract.

Standard indicative fees are:

  • Corporate Half-Day: From £3,000 for up to 15 participants.

  • Corporate Full-Day: From £5,000 for up to 15 participants.

Additional charges for travel, accommodation, external venues, larger groups or bespoke development will be agreed in advance where applicable.

Payment schedules, cancellation terms, delivery arrangements, programme scope and other commercial conditions will be specified in the corporate agreement.

Where a corporate agreement does not contain separate cancellation provisions, the parties will seek to agree a reasonable outcome reflecting work already undertaken, non-recoverable costs and the notice provided.

The individual participant refund schedule does not automatically apply to business-to-business contracts.

9. Professional Strategy Consultations:

TAGi also offers individual Professional Strategy Consultations.

Standard Fee: £50
Duration: 60 minutes
Format: Online, by appointment.

Clients may request cancellation or rescheduling by contacting TAGi.

TAGi's standard policy is to offer a full refund for cancellations received at least 48 hours before the agreed appointment, where the consultation has not begun.

Requests received within 48 hours will be reviewed individually, and a transfer may be offered.

Where statutory consumer cancellation rights apply, those rights take precedence over the 48-hour policy.

Professional Strategy Consultations cover business, career, leadership and professional development. They do not constitute medical advice, clinical assessment, Adult ADHD diagnosis or prescribing services.

10. Online Programme Delivery:

Online programmes may be delivered using Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet or another platform specified in the booking confirmation.

Participants are responsible for arranging suitable internet connectivity, audio equipment and a learning environment appropriate for professional training.

TAGi will take reasonable steps to deliver online programmes effectively and address disruptions within its control.

Where a significant disruption prevents TAGi from providing the contracted service, participants will be offered an appropriate remedy in accordance with their legal rights.

11. Programme Materials and Intellectual Property:

Training slides, case studies, exercises, frameworks, handouts and other materials supplied by TAGi remain the intellectual property of TAGi or their respective rights holders.

Participants may use supplied materials for their own learning and internal professional development, subject to any licence terms communicated with the materials.

Materials must not be reproduced, sold, redistributed, publicly published or used to deliver commercial training without appropriate written permission.

Unauthorised recording of training sessions is not permitted.

12. Certificates and Educational Status:

Where a TAGi Certificate of Completion is offered, it confirms participation or completion according to the published requirements of the relevant programme.

The TAGi Mini Executive MBA Programme is an independent executive professional development programme.

It is not a university MBA degree, does not confer academic credits and should not be represented as an accredited academic qualification unless TAGi expressly confirms an applicable accreditation.

13. Refund Processing:

Approved refunds will ordinarily be made to the original payment method.

Where a statutory cancellation right applies, refunds will be processed within the legally required timeframe, generally no later than 14 days after TAGi receives a valid cancellation notice.

Other approved refunds will normally be initiated within 14 calendar days of the refund decision.

The time taken for funds to appear in the customer's account may depend on the payment provider and issuing bank.

TAGi will not impose refund charges where prohibited by law.

14. Participant Information and Privacy:

TAGi collects personal information reasonably necessary to administer programme bookings, deliver training, communicate with participants and maintain appropriate business records.

Information may include names, contact details, professional roles, programme selections and payment-related records.

Payment transactions are processed through the payment services integrated with the TAGi website.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and TAGi's Privacy Policy.

Participants should not provide unnecessary sensitive personal information through general booking forms.

15. Complaints and Disputes:

TAGi is committed to dealing fairly and professionally with booking concerns.

Customers who have a complaint should contact:

info@amadiglobal.co.uk

Please include the booking reference, programme name, scheduled date and a brief description of the concern.

TAGi will acknowledge complaints within five working days and aim to provide a substantive response within 15 working days, or explain if additional time is required.

Nothing in this policy limits a customer's legal remedies.

16. Changes to This Policy:

TAGi may update this policy periodically to reflect changes in its services, operating procedures or applicable law.

The terms applicable to an existing booking will not be changed retrospectively to the customer's disadvantage without a lawful basis or agreement.
